Karen Uhlenbeck, awarded the Abel Prize

Professor Karen Uhlenbeck has been awarded the Abel Prize for "her pioneering achievements in geometric partial differential equations, gauge theory and integrable systems, and for the fundamental impact of her work on analysis, geometry and mathematical physics".
